Resources & Wrap-Up

I know you probably feel like you’ve been drinking from a firehose with the last couple pages of information. The good news is that you can save, share, and re-reference these pages as you implement them into your everyday life! I know you’re going to LOVE seeing how things COULD be if we learned about these things as young women.

Here I will be listing the resources mentioned as well as some additional sources I have either used or been directed towards (by Anna Speirs, RN, and other professionals in various, related fields).

I hope you now have the desire to live in rhythm with your body as opposed to against it! If you DID find it helpful, I would ask that you recommend it to a friend. Share this page, pin it, text the link, whatever you have to do to help other ladies in your life know themselves and start this journey beside you! Here they are again for your convenience:

  1. Definitions & Common Irregularities
  2. The Phases of Your Cycle
  3. What to Eat
  4. What to do (internally)
  5. What to do (externally)

My intention with sharing all these resources for you in one place is that you will learn to gather your own information that applies to your specific circumstances. You may feel that you are just average but I can promise you that is not true! Whether you have an irregular cycle, a condition, a specific diet, or workout restrictions, even if your interest in what to dig into next is something beyond what I have/will eventually cover, I want to equip you as best I can to fly on your own!!

What’s to Come (or what HAS come if it is linked below):

  1. Daily recipe guide with accompanying shopping list
  2. Daily workout routines with video examples
  3. Resources to help you find outlets that will feed your internal needs
  4. Basic learning of working out, eating and food groups, and how to know your cycle
  5. Resources for irregularities and other variances

The best part is, these things are unique to you and will align with your specific cyle; with what your body is naturally inclined to do. And, do you want to know why this is amazing? Because your body is already amazing! It was made GOOD! And things shouldn’t be so hard.

While these things don’t necessarily account for every dietary restriction, irregularity, or condition, my hope is that it will give you enough framework and resources to be able to make those adjustments to YOUR needs (or just preferences).

Think of it this way:

The average monthly cost of a dietician/nutritionist in the US is $300-$1,000, just for the meal plan (not factoring in the appointment costs). Other sources backing up this number are below:

The average monthly cost of a personal trainer in the US is $200-600 (variance is due to the frequency of sessions as well as the level of personalization): Other sources backing up this number are below:

As you can see, the median cost of these two pieces alone is a little over $1,000. While I am expecting baby number 2 in addition to my already insanely busy toddler, I plan to keep this creative outlet for myself and make this content as soon as I am able without sacrificing quality. Originally, I was going to make a course for this that would be available for purchase. However, I have decided that I want to truly keep this as an outlet for myself versus something I stress about “profiting” from. I don’t want to gatekeep this information for my benefit because I think finances should never be a factor on someone being able to better themself; and, I have been in the situation of wanting to take the steps, not knowing how, and not being able to afford the resources that do exist, as limited as they are.

The why? Because I AM SO PASSIONATE about women taking control of their lives and KNOWING their own bodies!

Do you feel overwhelmed/like you’re drinking from a firehose yet?

That’s ok!

Imagine how I felt figuring out what questions to even ask, then asking them, then getting answers, and having to figure out how to put it together into something even remotely cohesive and easy to understand. Whew!

It does get better!

The journey doesn’t end here. You know the basics now and are ready to start applying them to your own life. And I LOVE THAT FOR YOU.

This blog is my creative outlet (which you now know is usually worked on in my Follicular Phase). What originally started as a potential side-hustle but has blossomed into something so much more beautiful – a way for me to speak positivity into myself and anyone who stumbles upon it. A way for moms to get guidance, be nosy, do some research, or simply not feel so alone! A way for women (no matter what stage of life) to learn about themselves and grow in confidence: not only physically but when speaking about or standing up for themselves.

Hopefully, this is not the end for you! You’ve got this, lady! The world is yours to discover! And now, so is your body! (too cheesy?)
